Purba - a musical and theatrical project created in Moscow in 1996.
Their music is based on the ancient sacred ceremonies of the Bon
tradition (the pre-Buddhist religion of Tibet) and the four schools of
Tibetan Buddhism. Musicians play authentic Tibetan traditional
instruments, use overtone singing, noise, electronics, drone, industrial
and ritual performance.
